Xtra Math

This interactive site allows your child to build their math fluency by grade level, and quickly assess target areas for your scholar to work on for the future to improve their fluency. A classroom will be set up for each class, and all you'll have to do is log in using a personal pin. Best of all, kids LOVE it, and it's fun! 

 

Fun Brain

This fun site offers games and worksheets for your scholar to improve their mathematics understanding and reasoning. Check it out, I think you'll see that your child will absolutely be engaged while learning. 

 

Math Aids

This site offers scholars a range of printable worksheets that they can use and online games to practice imporant skills, whether it be through mathematics fluency, or just plain mastery of content.

 

Homework Help

This website offers parents helpful videos to help your scholar complete their homework. We know you will love it, and and will find it a blessing. Click away! 

 

Eureka Math/Great Minds

This website offers parents a chance to understand the concepts being discussed in class through resources right on the site. It will help break down the difficulty that can come with trying to help your scholar with Common Core Mathematics misunderstandings. 

 

Khan Academy

We've all heard about it. We've all have been curious about it. Now you can use it nightly to help with any interesting topic from mathematics to Science, to you name it--there is a video for it. Short. Sweet. To the point. What's not to love?

 

 

English Language Arts

 
ABC YA

Children can listen to short stories, read aloud to them as they follow along with the hightlighted text. ABCya! has a variety of educational games in addition to the featured stories. Have fun! 

 
National Geographic Young Explorers

National Geographic Young Explorers is a magazine designed specifically for kidergarten and first grade students; however, is beneficial for second grade scholars as well. Children can listen to the magazine being read to them as they follow along with highlighted text. 

 
Tumble Books Cloud Jr.

Tumble Books is a Pay-For-Use site that traditionally sells licenses to libraries and schools. This site offers your scholar a multitude of books to choose from to be read aloud to them as they follow along with highlighted text. This is a MUST to help your scholar with reading fluency and accuracy. For Free Access, just use your Ocean State Libraries Card Number to read for free! If you are struggling with reading at night, give this a try, and open up a world of possibilities for your scholars growth in reading!

 
Starfall

While some areas of Starfall are part of their premium service, they have many early reader stories avalable for free. Students can follow along as they story is read to them and can, in some instances, help create their very own stories!
